WP Stage 3 — Wayside Performance Custom ECU Calibration

Stage 3 is the limit of what the A20NFT's stock turbo can reliably and safely deliver — and it's a genuinely impressive place to be.

 

By adding a front-mount intercooler to the Stage 2 hardware, we're able to bring intake temperatures down dramatically, run more aggressive ignition timing, and extract a final step in power that simply isn't achievable when the standard intercooler is struggling to keep up.

 

At Stage 2 power levels, heat becomes the enemy — particularly in warmer conditions, during repeated hard pulls, or on track. The standard intercooler starts to saturate quickly, charge temperatures rise, and the ECU pulls timing to protect the engine.

 

The result is power that drops away after a few runs and inconsistent performance exactly when you want it most.

 

A properly sized front-mount intercooler solves all of that. A Stage 3 car holds its power run after run in a way that a Stage 2 car simply cannot, and the cooler, denser charge air is what allows us to extract those final gains in the calibration.

Our Stage 3 calibration is built entirely from scratch around the complete hardware setup.

 

Figures of 335-345hp and 390-420ft/lb of torque represent the ceiling of what this platform can deliver on its standard turbocharger.

Every WP Stage 3 installation is carried out at our workshop by our experienced technicians and includes a before and after dyno run with a printed power graph.

 

Required hardware:

  • Airtec front-mount intercooler
  • All Stage 2 hardware (Airtec induction kit + exhaust upgrade)

 

Advised hardware:

  • Uprated spark plugs (if not already fitted)
  • Forge Motorsport recirculation valve (if not already fitted)

 

Please note this product is workshop install only including before and after dyno printout.
